Every week, we had been running test walking tours led by photographers, anthropologists, architects, and journalists through different districts in Yerevan. Ranging from historically centered to art therapy walking sessions, the city tours will introduce you to alternative ways of seeing, hearing, smelling, and tasting Yerevan.

About Visualizing Yerevan
Visualizing Yerevan started with the workshop in the summer of 2021. Within its framework, participants of the program developed a 'fresh' perspective on the history of the city and entered into a critical discussion on the impact of present-day urban transformations on the historical legacy of the city. The next year, participants began developing research-based itinerary projects ranging from history of cinema culture to autoethnography of being a stranger in the capital of Armenia. The results will be showcased to a wider audience in Yerevan in the format of test walking tours through the city which are presented in the following website.
